3. Ben Nevis - Scotland
Ben Nevis is the UK's highest point. Standing at 1345 metres, an amazing view is guaranteed on a clear day. Ben Nevis is located at Fort William, East Scotland. The remains of what was once a volcano. James Robertson, from Edinburgh, was the first person to reach the top of Ben Nevis on August 17th 1771.
An annual event is held every September called the Ben Nevis Race.
2. Mount Snowdon - Wales
Mount Snowdown is the highest point of Snowdonia. A National Park in the heart of Wales, United Kingdom. Walking the 1085 meter high rock would take a whole day, there and back. So ensure you take a picnic, and plenty of water. Thomas Johnson was the first on record to conquer the giant in 1639.
The views of the lakes travelling through the mountain range is truly a treat for those who appreciate nature and the countryside. Mount Snowdon also offers a 1 and a half hour train journey to the peak.
1. LANDS END - CORNWALL
Lands End is the furthest west point of Cornwall, England. The greatest feature is the size of the full moon on a clear night. Storm Watchers are treated to high tides crashing on the cliff edges.
