Mary Poppins is a well known and loved family favourite. Released in 1964, the critically acclaimed title is as relevant today as it was back then. Dick Van Dyke, who played Berk the chimney sweep, and Banker Mr. Dawes Sr, confirms he will take part in the upcoming movie.
Mary Poppins is one of Disney's greatest films. And with a sequel coming 54 years later. It will probably be the longest awaited sequel in the history of film. That's killing two birds with one stone. A sequel to a loved classic, and a world record to go with it.
