Social Media Giant, Facebook, has introduced a new way to tackle 'fake' news showing in your news feed. This can be any subject from politics, climate change, illuminati, conspiracy theories etc. Many people have been complaining about 'fake news' showing in their news feed, but there is a difference between fake news, opinions, and a blog.
Polirants is urging Facebook to consider the new algorithm to operate in a way that does indeed tackle these 'fake' news stories, but also takes into account that many people have blogs, online businesses and want to make a real contribution to the world with what resources they have.
Polirants will be the first to say that we are a blogging site that wants to offer a real alternative to the bias news we see by a handful of media outlets, not only in the UK, but in the United States as well. We welcome your tackle to fake news, but please think about the people who want to make a real difference, please don't make it harder on us to spread our positive message to the world. If you compare a blogging site to a YouTube channel, you'll see that people like to use issues to observe a situation, or voice their opinion about a particular subject. We should be able to freely express that to loyal readers, who we genuinely value and respect.
